Compost supplies
We stock multi-purpose organic mushroom compost in convenient bags, ready to enrich your raised beds, planters, and plot soil £4.50 Per Bag or 3 Bags for £12.00
Cash payments only
To keep bookkeeping straightforward for our volunteer team, we operate strictly on a cash-only basis. Please bring exact change where possible.
Members only
Access to shop supplies is strictly reserved for registered Browns Lane Allotment Society plot holders and members.
Weekend opening hours
The allotment shop is open every Saturday and Sunday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Run by dedicated member volunteers, our weekend opening slots make it easy to pick up compost before tending to your plot.
Convenient on-site collection
Transporting heavy bags of soil from distant garden centres can be a chore. Our on-site shed shop allows you to wheel compost directly to your allotment plot with ease. Volunteer stewards are always happy to advise on stock levels and collection.
